530 exhibitors from 41 countries are expected to attract a record attendance to interlift 2015 which is being held in Augsburg, Germany, from October 13th to 16th. This year, Warner Electric will once again be exhibiting its wide range of elevator brake systems in Hall 5, Stand 5241.

This year’s event sees a significant increase in floor space in order to accommodate the record number of exhibitors that are using this opportunity to meet the industry professionals and promote their business. As such, Interlift 2015 is set to offer visitors a wide range of innovations and solutions to tackle the current issues within the industry.

One of the most significant changes in the industry has been the recent introduction of the new European standards, EN 81-20 and EN 81-50; which cover not only lift design and manufacture, but also impact building design and construction. With full compliance required by August 2017, manufacturers and designers at the exhibition will be able to offer advice on meeting the new standards.

Warner Electric, which is part of Altra Industrial Motion, offers a range of braking systems that are designed to conform to these latest standards and deliver unparalleled reliability. As new buildings push the boundaries of design so the internal transportation systems need to keep pace in terms of functionality, reliability and speed.

To help both elevator and traction machine manufacturers, Warner Electric continues to develop its extensive range of braking systems, which are designed to work with both geared motors and gearless motors, as well as offering solutions for modernization applications. Using lean manufacturing principles in conjunction with extensive testing facilities, this world leader ensures the highest quality products are delivered in the most cost effective manner.
